You can become a member of this congregation by transfer from another congregation denomination, by profession of faith, or by reinstatement after a time of being away from the church.
We understand membership in the church as the decision to become more and more a true follower of Jesus Christ, a disciple. A disciple of Jesus is one who makes three commitments: 1) to be an active part of the Body of Christ; 2) to seek to become more like Jesus; and 3) to follow Jesus out into the world in service to others (Shift, p. 74, Dr. Phil Maynard).
